The 10 Most Loved Features Of FastSMS
Sometimes, when you work so closely with something you have a hard time seeing it clearly. We, of course, think our web-based service NetMessenger is the best solution for sending SMS messages in the UK.
But what do our customers think? I took some time to read through comments and reviews about our beloved NetMessenger and fastsms. And I discovered our customers love it too!
Here’s a list of 10 features we offer that people enjoyed so much they specifically mentioned it. The list is in no particular order, other than what I thought made sense. I’ve also pulled some quotes that represent how our customers feel about each feature.
1. Works From Any Computer Or Mobile Device
The wonderful thing about the web is that you can get to it from just about anywhere these days. Between mobile web and free Wi-Fi, you can get online with your favourite device and start sending SMS messages with fastsms. Our website and NetMessenger are mobile friendly so they work as well on your tablet as they do on your laptop.
2 & 3. Scheduling & Tracking
In NetMessenger, you can write all your messages and if you aren’t ready to send them now, you can schedule them to go out at a later time. Or you can plan ahead. Always forgetting someone’s birthday? Write it now and schedule for later. Want to wish everyone “Happy New Year!” all at the same time? Write one message now and schedule to go out just before midnight on December 31st. Need to send your customers birthday offers or wishes? Our scheduling feature allows you to do all that and more.
Whether you send them now or later, just one or a million, once you’ve sent your messages, you can check to see if they’ve been delivered. We track them and report back to you their status, which will be “delivered” nearly 100% of the time. The few exceptions of a message not being delivered are usually because the mobile number isn’t correct, or is out of service.
4. Option To Send To Groups Or Individuals
There are many different ways people use SMS messaging. Some use it to keep in touch with friends and family while traveling. Others use it as a key component in their mobile marketing. And still others use it to keep in touch with clients and employees.
Thankfully, NetMessenger can handle all these types of situations. People frequently contacted together can be put into a group, so you don’t have to enter every individual. Marketers use our large group distribution lists to reach thousands at one time easily. But you can still just send one message to one individual if that’s what you need to do.
5. VMNs
Short for “virtual mobile number”, VMNs let you receive SMS messages without having to have a mobile phone. To the rest of the world they look like a mobile phone number, and they work the same. People can text you, and you can send replies back.
6. Text Labels
Being able to enter a text label in the “from” of an SMS message means you can make sure everyone knows who sent them the message. It’s an especially good feature for those doing mobile marketing who need name recognition for their company. But it’s also good for contacting friends who may not have you in their contacts yet. Companies also use text labels when sending alerts or updates to staff so it’s clear they’ve received a work-related message.
7. Flexible Bundles Of Credits
Every 160-character message sent costs one credit in NetMessenger. While some may only need 100 credits, or maybe 1000, we have clients that need tens of thousands to millions. Anyone who sends bulk messages to large lists will appreciate the option to purchase enough credits to meet their needs. And there’s a bonus: The more credits purchased, the less each credit costs.
8. Reliable
There are many “free” SMS messaging options on the web. The trouble with most of them is that they’re completely unreliable. They send messages using inferior routes which means your message may never arrive. And if you thought using an instant messaging app would be better, you might want to think again. SMS is everywhere, on every phone, in every country. You can’t say that about every IM app, even if they convert the messages into SMS. If you want your message delivered, choose fastsms.
9. Cut Costs
While not exactly a “feature” of NetMessenger, number nine is often a happy side-effect of using all the other features. SMS is an efficient way to communicate with virtually everyone. It takes less time than following up with people on the phone, and generally receives much higher response rates (no one actually answers their phone anymore do they?). Businesses have reduced no-show rates, freed up time for staff to complete other work, and reduced costs while doing it by using SMS messaging with fastsms.
10. Real People In The UK
Our tenth and one of our most important features, is our customer service. If you need help you’ll get one of us on the phone or on live chat. You aren’t redirected to some parent company across the pond, or re-routed to an outsourced customer support centre in India. We’re real people behind the company, located here in the UK.
What’s not to love? You can check out all the things our customers love in the reviews on Feefo. They’re an independent feedback and review site. We don’t have any control over what people write there, though we will respond when we’re feeling appreciative of the kind words, or if we think we can help someone who’s had an issue.
To see more of the features our customers love, take a look at our website, or grab us on live chat where we’d be happy to answer your questions.
