Fastsms Has A New Home In Worcestershire
Light, bright, and spacious are a few of the words used to describe our new office space at Orchard House in Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire. We’re expanding and taking on new account managers to meet our customers’ needs so we picked the perfect spot. I could tell you about it, but wouldn’t it be better to see it?
Watch the video below to see our new space and hear from our Technical Director Rich Burt and Operations Director Sandy Burt. We also have some fun with our team in the second video where they share their favourite things about the new office, and even where to eat lunch.
Transcript (edited for clarity)
Rich Burt, Technical Director:
Good morning and welcome to sunny Droitwich where after 15 years of being in Bromsgrove, fastsms has recently relocated its office. Let’s go take a look.
Sandy Burt, Operations Director answering the question “Why the move?”:
Well, we’re expanding the customer account management team. We’ve known for a long time now that lots of our customers get benefits from fastsms in lots of different ways, and what we’re really looking to do is bring in more customer account managers to help our customers use it for different things, and in different ways, so they can get more benefit from the fastsms service.
Sandy Burt on “Why Droitwich”:
Why Droitwich? Well, we wanted somewhere that was well connected for transport. We wanted a town centre location so that our team could benefit from the facilities around the office, once we found one. And also being quite centrally located, it gives us quite a large talent pool to pull from, which ultimately will better serve our customers in the long term.
Sandy Burt on “Why Orchard House”:
What we’re really looking to this time, was find the right one[office]. The one that served our team best. And if our team are happy then they’re gonna do a much better job of looking after our customers. So we went with something open-plan, bright, light and airy and with plenty of space. Our account managers are a very dedicated and spend a long time in the office, when they’re not out seeing customers, so we wanted to be somewhere they’ll be happy.
