The TextAnywhere Upgrade, Your Top FAQs
We’re excited to confirm that the first wave of FastSMS customers will be upgraded to the TextAnywhere platform in mid- September. Our experts have been busy working behind the scenes to make sure that your upgrade is seamless. We will be contacting you individually when your account is ready, so keep an eye on your inbox! In the meantime, until you hear from us, keep using your current account as normal.
We know that you must have lots of questions about your upgrade so we have written this blog to answer your top FAQ upgrade questions.
What does the new platform look like?
This is a popular question, and we can’t wait to unveil it to you. Just like the FastSMS platform, TextAnywhere has been built to be intuitive and easy to use. For those wanting a sneak peak, we’ll be hosting a platform tour webinar soon.
Will I have support to use the new TextAnywhere Platform?
Of course, we have built a custom support site packed full of training and step by step tutorials. This ensures that you will be able to start sending right away. We’ll also have plenty of staff available to answer your questions if you get stuck. We’ll share a link to the TextAnywhere platform support site soon.
Will I be able to login using the same credentials?
Yes, your previous login credentials will work on the new platform. If you do attempt to log into the old platform after you’ve been upgraded you will need to log into the new platform again. We suggest that you update your bookmark to prevent this.
If I currently send messages to destinations outside the UK, how do I purchase my SMS credits?
If you already have the capability to send outside the UK you will still be able to do this on the new TextAnywhere platform. You will have a unique “custom pack” that will be maintained at the prices you pay currently for international SMS. For any queries or to activate this on your account, please contact customer support.
Will my SMS credits expire?
Yes eventually, however we’ve ensured that any credits you have on the day you’re upgraded will be valid for 12 months. This means that in some cases your credits will have a longer expiry period.
