SMS Web Pages – How to create a bespoke mobile landing page

Using SMS Web Pages will enhance your SMS marketing campaigns and provide a better experience for your customers. SMS Web Pages allows you to create your very own mobile landing page, include images, extra text, and a call to action button and send it to your customers as a link within the body of your text message.

There are 6 areas to take note of when using SMS Web Pages.

Templates – Select different templates to fit your need.

Header image – Add a big and bright header image to entice customers

Header text box – Add a header message and change the font style and colour.

Body text box – Add extra text and change the font style, size, and colour.

Call to action button – Add text and a URL link to the call to action button and change the font style, size, and colour as well as the button colour.

Preview – Preview your mobile landing page on different mobile devices.

SMS Web Pages - overviewTo create your own mobile landing page, first click the ‘SMS Web Pages’ button on your home screen, this will take you to the SMS Web Pages screen. The first thing you want to do is name your page using the editing section on the right under ‘Title’. From here you can change the background colour, text colour, and font size and style.

Make sure you click the green ‘Save’ button after all changes to ensure work is not lost.

Templates

To change the layout of your landing page, click one of the pre-designed templates at the top of the page. You can change the template as many times as you want, each time all your work will be moved to fit the new layout.

Header image

To add a header image to your landing page, first click the image area, this will highlight the selected area with a box labelled ‘Edit’. Once selected, click the ‘Images’ tap on the right. Here you will be able to upload new images by clicking the grey box or dragging and dropping images into this box. Once uploaded select the image under the ‘Uploaded images’ area and it will be displayed on your landing page.

You can also add a title, alternate text, add a URL to the image, and change the image to another one you have uploaded. To do this select the ‘Edit’ tab on the right-hand side.

To add text to the header box, click the text box labelled ‘Headline goes here’, this will highlight the selected area with a box labelled ‘Edit’. Once selected, using the right-hand section, you will then be able to add text and change the font style and colour, as well as changing the background colour of the text box.

To add a text to the main text area, click the text box just below the header box, this will highlight the selected area with a box labelled ‘Edit’. Once selected, using the right-hand section, you will then be able to add text, change the font style, size, and colour, as well as changing the background colour of the text box.

To add a call to action button to your landing page, click the button labelled ‘Call to action button’, this will display a highlighted box around the button labelled ‘Edit’. Once selected, using the right-hand section, you will be able to change the font style, size, and colour, include a URL and add text to the button.

To preview your finished page, click the ‘Preview’ button next to the green ‘Edit’ button on the right of your screen. Once selected you can then view your landing page as it would appear on a desktop, tablet, or mobile phone. Using the headers just below the templates, select your desired device to see what it looks like.
