Message Control – Checking your scheduled, sent, and received messages

Viewing your scheduled message list, your sent list, and all the messages you have received can be found in the Message Control area. First click on the ‘Message Control’ button on your home screen, this will take you to the ‘Message Control’ section. On this page, you will see a toolbar at the top and 3 tabs to switch between.

Scheduled Messages – Check, edit, or delete your scheduled messages.

Sent Messages – View all sent messages and download reports on them.

Received Messages – Reply, forward, and export received messages.

Message control overview

Toolbar

First, you will need to take note of the toolbar at the top of the Message Control home screen. This toolbar will let you edit scheduled messages, reply and forward received messages, and export reports. Icons are greyed out until an action can be taken, for example, the ‘Edit’ icon will light up once a scheduled message has been selected.

New – Shortcut button that takes you to the ‘Send SMS’ page.

Edit – Allows you to edit a scheduled message. See ‘Scheduled Messages’ section for more info.

Delete – Allows you to delete a scheduled message. See ‘Scheduled Messages’ section for more info.

Reply – Reply to messages you have received in your account. See ‘Received Messages’ section for more info.

Forward – Lets you forward a sent message or a reply. See ‘Sent Messages’ and ‘Received Messages’ sections for more info.

Delivery Reports – Export a report on messages delivered over a certain time frame. See ‘Export Reports’ section for more info.

Message Sent – Export a detailed delivery report of messages sent through the online platform over a certain time frame. See ‘Export Reports’ section for more info.

API Sent – Export a simple report on messages sent through the API over a certain time frame. See ‘Export Reports’ section for more info.

Purchase – Shortcut button that takes you to the ‘Product Purchase’ screen.

Scheduled Messages

The Scheduled Messages section lets you view all your scheduled messages that you have set up, and from here you can edit or delete them.

Edit – To edit a scheduled message, click the message you want to edit, this will highlight it blue, once highlighted, click the ‘Edit’ icon. This will open a box, click ‘Yes’ and this will take you to the ‘Send SMS’ screen. Once you have finished editing the message you must re-schedule it.

Delete – To delete a scheduled message, click the message you want to delete, this will highlight it blue, once highlighted, click the ‘Delete’ icon. This will open a box, click ‘Yes’ and your message will be deleted. You will not be able to retrieve these messages once deleted.

You can use the ‘Find a Message’ search bar to search for a specific message.

Sent Messages

In the ‘Sent Messages’ view, you will be able to see all your sent messages for 6 months. From here you can search for specific sent messages, forward these messages, and download individual report on each sent message.

Forward – To forward the message onto a new contact, first click the message you want to forward, this will highlight it blue, once highlighted, click the ‘Forward’ icon. This will take you through the ‘Send SMS’ page where you can send the message onto a new contact.

Download report – To download individual sent messages, click the blue ‘Report’ button next to the message you want to download a report for. This will open a box where you can enter your email address and get the report sent to you.

You can use the ‘Find a Message’ search bar to search for a specific message.

Received Messages

Within the Received Messages area, you will be able to see received messages. These are split up into different inboxes, from here you can reply, forward, and export inbox replies.

Reply – To reply to a message, first click the message you want to reply to, this will highlight it blue, once highlighted, click the ‘Reply’ icon. This will take you to the ‘Send SMS’ page where you can type out your message and reply.

Forward – To forward the message, first click the message you want to forward, this will highlight it blue, once highlighted, click the ‘Forward’ icon. This will take you through the ‘Send SMS’ page where you can send the message onto a new contact.

Configure – To configure your Keywords and Virtual Mobile Numbers, first select the inbox you would like to configure using the ‘Inboxes’ drop-down box, once selected click the ‘Configure’ button. This will open a new box where you can set up automatic reply’s, direct replies to an email, or forward the reply.

Export – To export all replies from a certain Keyword and Virtual Mobile Number, first select the inbox you would like to configure using the ‘Inboxes’ drop-down box, once selected click the ‘Export button. This will open a box where you can enter your email address and get the report sent to you.

You can use the ‘Find a Message’ search bar to search for a specific message.

Export Reports

In the toolbar at the top of the Message Control screen, there is a section called ‘Export Reports’, here you can export reports from your platform, API, or both, using the 3 icons.

Delivery Reports – To download a detailed delivery report on messages sent. This report will include; sent date, tag, sender ID, message content, sent total, message parts.

Message Sent – To download a report on messages sent through the online SMS platform, first click the ‘Message Sent’ icon. This will bring up a box where you can enter a date range you want to see messages sent from and until and get the report sent to a specific email address.

API Sent – To download a report on messages sent through the API, first click the ‘API Sent’ icon. This will bring up a box where you can enter a date range you want to see messages sent from and until and get the report sent to a specific email address.
